Hi, and welcome to a new approach to learning the key skills for (I)GCSE Maths!

I'm really excited to have you on board, and I know you're going to get such a lot out of the materials we're going to work through together.

Here's what you need to know about me and this platform:

• My goal is to make maths easy to learn;

• To save you time with simple, powerful methods and by linking ideas together;

• To target the topics that are worth MEGA marks in the exam;

• To make it easy for you to enjoy your time with me (yes, really!).

• I love maths, and I've made it my life's work to be good at teaching it.

So what do you need to do?

It's simple.

A lot of my students over the years have told me what makes me different, or special, as a teacher.  And, whilst that's really nice to hear - and we've all had teachers we feel that way about - there's another side to the story that doesn't get talked about much.

What makes a student "different", or "special"?

It's not being super smart or talented - it's simpler than that:

Choosing to care about what you're studying.  Wanting to succeed.

Being patient with yourself.  Going back if you don't understand something and trying again.  But most importantly - believing that you can do it, even when it's difficult. 

So this is what I'm asking you to do.  Believe in yourself.  Care about your progress, and your success.  We CAN do it - together.
